WikiTestPrep-free Q-bank for MedStudents
We all know that there is nothing better than free stuff. WikiTestPrep is one of those things. Free USMLE Qs for Step1 and Step2. That must be something hot and cool. I can’t really tell how good the questions are. I am still doing UW and want to finish with all the Qs before the subscription expires for second time. The Qs are sent by students, as you can see from the name it is a wiki-based website. So far they offer only step1 Qs, which makes it not useful for step2 takers yet. Hopefully, this open source project will expand and fill up the gap for a good, and free Q-bank competing the other Q-bank monsters from UW and Kaplan. BTW UW became so expensive.
You can give it a try, and tell me in the comments your opinion of wikitestprep.

superb
Thank you Doctor For This Very Useful Topic
Disclaimer: I founded WikiTestPrep, so I’m obviously biased.
That being said, quality is an important issue I want to put this out there quickly. All of our editorial board members (who subsequently write 95% of the WikiTestPrep questions) undergo several question writing workshops. These workshops have continuously revised over the past three years and have become fairly rigorous at this point. I wish there was some objective way of comparing the different resources out there, but suffice to say that I’m confident are questions are the best out there. You simply can’t beat the attention we and the thousands of users pay to every single question.
Thanks for the additional explanation of how the test questions have been written.
I don’t have much time now,but after my step2 CK exam, I will definitely write a new post and quote your comment. Hope, we can reach more students (preparing for the medical board exams) who need quality USMLE type of questions.
