Green Tea May Cut Prostate Cancer

According to a report from the Epidemiology and Prevention Division of the National Cancer Center in Tokyo, a study of 50,000 men aged 40-to-69 revealed that those who drank 5 or more cups of green tea a day cut their risk of developing progressive prostate cancer by half. Researchers speculate that catechin, a substance contained in green tea, may either inhibit cancerous cell growth or help reduce testosterone levels.

    This is great news in the fight against prostate cancer…hopefully we can apply what we have found with these studies to new prostate treatment.
