HyperBaric Breathing

May 20, 2008

We always say that breathing properly is important for the mental and physical health of the individual. OK, but the question is how to breath properly. There are also thousands of books on the market, but we never actually have enough time to read and learn how to breath. Why? Because we think that we know how to breath. Do we know how? I personally have never spent even 10 minutes to read more about how to breath properly.

Fortunately, today I came across hyperbaricbreathing website, which gives tips how to improve the oxygenation of the brain by using some simple techniques. Hope that will help me a bit in my preparation for the usmle. We all need more O2 to our brains, don’t we?

Doesn’t our medulla do this for us so we do not waste our time worrying about it? Why should we focus on something that is supposed to be done subconsciously?

Because we don’t do it properly subconsciously:)
Haven’t you experience moments when you think about something and you hold your breath for a while? It happens to me very often. The breathing should be nice, deep and smooth.
