Erythrocytes: Morphology and Physiology

December 24, 2008

The RBCs morphology and associated disease has always been something very confusing and if you are not a hematologist working everyday with the terminology of the RBCs, you are lost. Fortunately, I found a website that finally help me to understand the Erythrocytes morphology and the terms use for it.

This teaching syllabus discusses the morphology and physiology of the erythrocytes appropriate for basic hematology curriculum. All objectives listed are in the cognitive domain unless otherwise noted. The student at the end of the instructional period, is responsible for meeting these objectives by achieving a cumulative score of 70% or better on all problem sets, case studies, major exams, quizzes, and library assignments.
