A group of Texas Tech Health Sciences Center medical students achieved a 100 percent pass rate on their licensing exams, a feat never before reached at the center’s medical school, according to school officials.

All 136 students in the School of Medicine’s entering class of 2006, who recently finished their second year of schooling and should graduate in 2010, passed the first part of the United States Medical Licensing Examination, or USMLE, said the school’s dean, Dr. Steven Berk.
