save as a PDF any URL with PDFmyURL

logoIn one of my previous posts I pointed out a few good online and free PDF fillers websites. Now, I would like to present PDFmyURL. It’s simple and easy way of saving any webpage as a PDF file. USMLE takers love PDFs, especially the free ones. One could ask, ‘What’s the use of it’? Well, you can PDF any medical article you found online, and store it on your hard drive to read it later. You can also use the highlighting option of Acrobat Pro, and take notes. Isn’t that handy?

Of course there is another option to do pretty much the same as with PDFmyURL. You can take a look and choose a PDFdownloader kind of Firefox add-on. The problem with the FF add-ons is that they don’t get updated accordingly to the FF updates.

Update: another similar html to pdf service is pdfcrowd. – Convert and save pdf from any webpage for free.
