About

The aim of this website is to provide fresh information about some usmle tips, mnemonics and useful links. The purpose of USMLEMD is purely informative. The idea of usmlemd is nice, but implementation requires a lot of work. And I can’t manage all this work on my own, so here is small offer: we are looking for people, who would be able to write about mnemonics, most commons and tips for USMLE. The style of posts is simple. It will be more or less up to you, how will you summarize all information and post them on the site, but it must be serious, brief and exact. If you would like to become our editor, contact me on marketplace100-at-yahoo.com or here on the site in comments.

Feb 09/08 I am always open for new ideas how to improve this website. Please, send your opinions what else you want to see on USMLEMD.

You can send to marketplace100-at-yahoo.com your blogs, websites, and articles, and they will be reviewed and present on USMLEMD.

New editors are very welcome. I really need 2-3 new people (medical background is an asset) for my new plans. As I said the whole blog is not commercial, and so far I can’t offer any payment options for the editors. The whole adventure is for fun, and of course to share the knowledge. Information is power.

I live and work very close to the intersection where the picture was taken. May be that’s why. BTW the same picture will look different not, after they built MaRS (or part or MaRS).

Hi, I just wanted to thank you for the quality of your blog. I found it a while ago while I wasn’t yet preparing for the USMLE, and now that I am, I check it quite frequently and also told my colleagues at Kaplan about it.
I graduated 11 years ago (!) so I’m not really reviewing, I’m actually learning a lot of stuff! Meaning I need all the help I can get! And your blog is being quite helpful!
I really appreciate the great effort you surely have to make in the middle of the hectic life of a physician/husband/father! THANK YOU and congratulations!
PS: If I come up with some nice insights about preparing after all this time, as an IMG (with a lot of practical experience but far far far away from things like biochem and micro), would you like me to send them to you?

@Manu: Thank you for the good words! I am glad that you and your colleagues like the content of USMLEMD. It is an open source website, which means everything on the website is free for reading and download, and everybody is welcome to contribute with materials, posts, and comments. BTW one of the contributers to the download section of the site (sorry, can’t tell his name now)had an offer from one of the biggest names for USMLE preparation and he will be a co-author for the next edition. So, you never know. The opportunities are everywhere. Speaking of this, I will be more than happy if you contribute your materials to the website. If you want you can go even further and write some posts for USMLEMD. We can figure it out. Let me know what you think.

P.S. I am in similar situation as you. Almost 10 years after graduation, still learning not reviewing (that was funny), but full with hope and honestly I really enjoy my studying NOW. When I was younger there were some other more important things:)

If you need more details, feel free to contact me via the contact form on the website or in the comments.

Take care and thank you again for the good words.
